We are seeking a full-time, relief manager, for three of our metro Detroit storage facilities. We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are independent workers and dedicated to their job. The individual must possess excellent verbal skills and must pass a pre-employment background check. Experience in the self-storage industry is preferred, but not necessary.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Property inspections focusing on sweeping units and performing lock checks
Renting storage units
Collecting rent /Delinquency calls
Communication with current and new self storage customers
Marketing the facility to outside businesses and individuals
Strong customer service skills
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
Aggressive in sales
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Employee must be able to work at all three self-storage locations. The locations are Farmington Hills, Madison Heights and Oak Park. You will transition between properties throughout the week.
